Main role:
1. Sealing function: prevent fluid leakage inside the hose. In some hydraulic, pneumatic or conveying fluid system, if there is no plug at the hose joint for sealing, the fluid may leak out from the joint, resulting in system pressure drop, media waste, and may even affect the normal operation of the system, triggering safety hazards.
2. Protective effect: to avoid external impurities, dust, moisture and so on into the hose. If impurities enter the hose, it may clog the pipe, wear the internal components, affecting the fluid delivery and system performance. For example, in some precision hydraulic systems, impurities entering may cause the valve spool to stall, so that the system can not work properly.
3. Easy to transport and storage: When the hose is not put into use, the plug can prevent the hose from being exposed at both ends of the opening, reduce the possibility of contamination or damage during transport and storage, and ensure that the hose and its fittings are in good condition before use.
4. Temporary blocking: in the system debugging, maintenance or part of the pipeline temporarily not in use, the use of plugs can be easily blocked up the hose couplings to avoid fluid loss, but also to facilitate the operation of the system locally, without affecting the normal operation of other parts.
